Earthquakes. How can you be prepared for one? What can we do for people who just went through an earthquake?
Earthquakes are some times very dangerous just think of the resent one we had in Japan. The also can be not dangerous at all. To be perpared for one you can go cn the internet and look up a list of things you could use. If you don't have internet access you could ask a parent or a friend that you know who has a list of things or you can ask to barrow their computer. A way we can help is by sending them supplies like canned food toothbrushes etc. also by raising money with fundraisers and send it to them so they can buy supplies . We can make a differences in peoples life by helping them when they are in need.

You never can tell when an earthquake is going to occur but you can be prepared. People who frequently experience earthquakes know to get out from under heavy things that can fall on you. The safest place is outside. One thing we can do to help people who just experienced an earthquake is to raise money to rebuild houses.
ReplyDeleteEarthquakes are very suprising, damaging,and horrible natural disasters. One of the main reasons for this is that you can't really be prepared since there is no way to predict them. Although we can't be prepared, we can do some things like build strong houses to withstand earthquakes. I think that if people experience a life- changing natural disaster, like an earthquake, we should send them money for help.
ReplyDeleteAn earthquake is the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth's crust that creates seismic waves. We could prepare for an earthquake by stocking up on non-perishable food, and water. You could also store supplies like flashlights, batteries, and other things. For people who just went through an earthquake we could donate supplies like food, water, clean clothes, and other essential items.
ReplyDeleteYou can realy prepare for one except making buildings earthquake capable, you can't realy do much else because they are unpreditable. You can send water, food, and money to rebuild buildings.
ReplyDeleteAn earthquake is very dangerous and very unpredictable. However there's no way to be prepared for one.You can take precautions so that you will know how to react when one comes. For example Mrs. Moss told us it's best to be outside if one ever occured. My heart goes out to those who have experienced an earthquake. I think we should all reach out and donate the needed substances to those who have experienced this severe situation to help them get through it and let them know they do have supporters.
ReplyDeleteAlthough we cant tell when an earthquake might hit, there are many things we can do to be prepared for one. First we should remain outside, being inside will probably be the worst thing to do in an earthquake. There are a countless number of things we can do to help people who have been in an earthquake. We can donate or time and money to help rebuild schools,hospitals,and other buildings
ReplyDeleteTo be prepared for an earthquake, one would need prepackaged food,bottled water, flashlights, batteries, masks, and first aid kits. If we are in an earthquake we should go outside to avoid falling debris. To help someone who went through an earthquake, we could send first aid kits, and raise money to send rescue crews to save lives.
ReplyDeleteI agree that earthquakes can be very dangerous and that you can be prepared. They construct buildings sturdier in case an earthquake comes, and you can have a plan for your family and what to do. We could send money from fundraisers or we could send care packages and things they would need that they might not have.
ReplyDeleteTo be prepared for an earthquake you must first know what to do when it actually occurs. If a earthquake were to happen in your town or city, make sure to get outside. Inside a building is the last place you would want to be. Because once everything starts to shake, stuff on the ceilings will began to fall and if you're under that...we all know what happens. People that just went through an earthquake were very unfortunate. We can do things to help them though. One thing that we can do is start a drive around the school that collects money. That money could get sent to the earthquake fund so that it can go towards the rebuilding of Haiti and Japan.
ReplyDeleteEarthquakes are very dangerous, you can never tell when there going to happen but you can tell where the probably will happen. to prepare for an earthquake your house or buisness can be built on a very strong foundation and you can building built tough. You can help the prople who survived a horrable earthquake by sending them food, water and you can help clean up the dabre.
ReplyDeleteIf you know and earthquake is going to happen then learn how to get out of buildings quicker. Honestly my opinion is we need to stop helping other countries out and get our stuff strait. Our economy has gone down the drains and i believe if we stop helping other countries then will have a higher chance of success.
ReplyDeleteI have already commented on several blogs that were about earthqaukes. You cant prepare for them because you dont know when ther are going to happen.
ReplyDeleteI think you would want to know there was an earthquake safe building. Although it wouldn't be resistant it would at least be somewhat safer to stay in or by during an earthquake, although the best way to stay safe is to leave the area it's going to hit. You would also want to have a stock of materials ready for if you get stuck and need them.
