Fog. What is fog? How does it accur? Do you have a cool exsperence with fog. If you do then tell me.

Fog is a cloud which is at ground level.  Fog forms when the air can no longer hold moisture in the form of vapor.  This concludes to water precipitates out of the air,  a fine mist of water droplets. If the air becomes saturated enough, which the droplets will turn into drizzle or rain. In the past we had two hour delays which gave everyone some more sleep and made me not in a bad mood, since I am not a morning person.

  1. A fog is just a cloud on the ground. Fog occurs when the temperature and dew point are equal or close and the air becomes saturated.

  2. Fog is condesation at ground level. It is a collection of water droplets or ice crystals suspended in the air at or near the Earth's surface. It occurs when it is very humid outside. It forms when water droplets are on their way up to the clouds, and bond together close to the earth. I remember riding down the road during a heavy fog and we couldnt see anything! We couldnt even see the car in front of us, so we had to slow down and proceed with caution.

  3. Fog is formed when a cloud is down to the ground. Fog is a collection of water droplets suspended at Earth's surface. I have experienced fog a numerous of times. Though I remebered back when I was in middle school we used to have one and two hour delays nearly everyday. Though since we have had a new superintendent that we do get as many hours off of school.

  4. Fog is when the cloud level is down to ground level. It is pretty much precipitants floating around the air at low heights. I have been through a lot of fog. A lot of times when it is foggy outside of my house my mom determines whether my sister and I will be going to school or not, not the superintendent. She usually decides on it whether she can see across the river or road, if she can't then no school for us. But if she can, then we are off for a normal day at school.

  5. Fog is basically a cloud that is very close to the ground. It forms when water droplets accumulate because the ground realeases heat throughout the day. The only cool experiences I have every had with fog are delays. They are always good suprises and they always make me happy!

  6. Fog is a stratus cloud that is formed the same way as a cloud. Water evaporates for bodies of water and the gas like water vapor rises in the air collecting dust particles. The water droplets combine together and a cloud forms; this is better known as fog. One of my favorite experiences with fog all occur on 2-hour delays from school. I get to snooze longer, and the day goes by shorter. What a life! :)

  7. Fog is a collection of water droplets near to earths surface. Evaporation from plants, and other bodies of water combine with dust to form a cloud. These clouds diminish visibility and sometimes can cause two-hour delays from school. We used to have two-hour delays nearly everyday, but now its a safety issue left unrecognized.

  8. Fog is made from evaporation from the ground that makes this low laying cloud. The density from mist makes it very hard to see. Driving in thick fog is almost like driving blind folded.

  9. I don't really have any neat experiences with fog, but I like how it usually looks on a regular basis. Fog is what happens when condensation appears in the air of the troposphere. Just like a clouds it's just a visible mass of water vapor.

  10. Fog is a cloud that has formed nar the ground. Like any cloud one can't see with a could in their face. This causes us to have fog delays. I do not have any specific memories of fog.

  11. Fog is a cloud at ground level. To me fog is not that bad. I like fog sometimes when it makes us have fog dalays. I havnt had any bad experiences with fog

  12. Fog comes from water condensing at ground level. This happens when the dew point becomes high enough, and I love it when it delays school. It is basically a cloud on the ground.

  13. Fog is formed when the dew point is high and the air is full of water vapor. I like fog days, we just need to have more delays though.
